Wildlife

This week we had a homework who said that we had to make a blog post about the wildlife, and relate it to Arne Næss. So now I am going make a short blog post about that.

Wildlife is one of our most important heritages. We have meat and leather to our clothes from animals, and we also obtain food and materials to our homes from plants. Before, we kept hunting on endangered species, but now it is illegal, because we think it is not right to kill a whole species. But the animals are still dying because of the humans, and that is because we pollute. We whale threes every day, have industry and because we drive in our cars so the air quality, the soil and the water become ill. Some animals are used when testing makeup and beauty products for human beings. 

Arne Næss is a philosopher from Norway, who is concerned with the environment. Næss made the Norwegian word “Økosofi” which means “natural wisdom”, with that he means that we have to think more about the surroundings and the animals then us selves. We can not hunt because it is fun, use animals to test makeup or transport food all over the world. He also thinks that we have to solve the ecological problems, and not just do it slower.

I think that Arne Næss is a good human, because he has some really good thoughts. Not just about the people, but also about the animals and the earth. I also think,as Arne Næss, that we have to change our lifestyles and not just keep going slower.
